More than 40% of jobs in Europe will be dramatically changed by digitization. In order to be able to face these current events also with regard to COVID19, the vocational education and training (VET) of all companies should be adapted to the needs of the labor market: Continuing vocational education and training (CVET) will be crucial to meet the new challenges accordingly.

Within the framework of the European Erasmus+ project CVETNET, WIFI International conducted an online survey together with its project partners of Bulgaria, the Czech Republic and Spain on the challenges and measures of SMEs and enterprises due to digitization, generational change and COVID19. Furthermore, best practice examples from the field of digitization and intergenerational learning were collected.

The results of the survey and four of the best practice examples will be presented in an Online Workshop in German language on the topic "Digital Competences in Times of COVID19" on 12.11.2020 within the framework of the 5th European Vocational Skills Week 2020.

The European Vocational Skills Week is an annual event where local, regional and national organizations present the best of vocational education and training (VET). It is organized by the European Commission in cooperation with the German EU Council Presidency.

The Online Workshop Program can be found in the download area.
