Skills4Retail: Qualification for transformation in the retail sector

Skills4Retail.jpg The "Skills4Retail" project has set itself the task of preparing the European retail sector for the challenges of the "triple transition" - green, digital and resilient.

By training new talent and reskilling the existing workforce, the project aims to close the skills gap and promote both sustainability and competitiveness in the retail sector.

Main objectives of Skills4Retail

  • Qualification of new talent: The aim is to attract new, highly qualified professionals to the retail sector in order to meet the growing demand.
  • Reskilling and upskilling: Existing employees will be trained and reskilled in digital and green competences.
  • Promoting sustainability and competitiveness: The project aims to make the retail sector more competitive by implementing sustainable practices and enhancing digital skills.

The main target groups are retail stakeholders who are to provide significant support in achieving these goals.
