In 2021, companies in 4 countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Spain and the Czech Republic) can benefit from in-depth analyses of the upskilling and re-skilling needs of their employees in the areas of digital transformation and intergenerational learning as part of the ERASMUS+ project CVETNET.

For the pilot phase, 100 individual educational pathways will be developed for the employees of interested companies, 20 in Austria. In Austria, 35 companies not yet well advanced in digitalization have been contacted. To date, however, it has not been possible to develop any educational pathways, as the companies are working intensively on their further economic development after the long COVID phase in order to regain a stronger foothold in the market. Some trained their employees internally, others postponed all training until 2022, partly for cost reasons and partly because of the restart of production. One HR manager told us that she does not want to show employees career opportunities in the current phase that then cannot be implemented.

For companies, chambers of commerce, interested institutions, trainers and educational institutions, 2 webinars on "Peer Learning" and "Scape Rooms" were held at the end of September 2021. The 2 webinars will be repeated in the 3rd week of October.

In addition, an invitiation to another webinar on "Career Paths and Motivation in the Digital Age" will be sent to relevant institutions for October 2021.
